Thanks everyone for voting for SLAVER.
Had a blast making and painting up this entry and look out for their first album featuring "south of Hashut", "waaaaaghhh ensemble" and "raining blunderbuss".

.......... They can be gladiatorial fighters, .. slaves carry an oversized throne; .. having slaves thrown into molten metal or scorched upon a fire altar;
just thought I'd throw this back out there. These particular ideas didn't get a showing in this comps final entries and I reckon these themes could be candidates for an future Artisans comp.
A pit fight; A throne or palanquin, an alter.
Some themes deserve a lot more prep time than others, It behooves my sense of fair play to maybe prod into life the creative juices in other members. Now I managed a diorama this time but really wanted a display borad for the previous golden hat but they can take a lot of time. I have already toyed with a few ideas that are along these lines and am going to begin planning and (but not likely actually) building things like this just because they may pop up in the future and I do like the ideas.

Congratulations to everyone, I truly had no idea of who would win, I really loved each entry and feel all were deserving to win. No doubt, as Admiral mentioned, that the voting was pretty even.
Please keep up the good work everybody, it was a real pleasure to see all of the entries from each of you!

Ogre size is good to pull a big golden throne. makes them work harder and doesn't block the view
