I voted for #2 as I felt the overall paintjob was the best. But I congratulate everyone for their efforts.

No 6. got my vote, very dynamic.
Crossbows were good and fine, but nowadays, a gun is better - and if a gun is good, then an automated self-aiming gyro-mounted gun turret with a cyclic grenade feeder and napalm cannister is even better.
I AM the anti-life, the bringer of doom and the ender of worlds. Where I go death arrives with me, and takes all in its path as I sit in glory revelling in the destruction I have wrought.
So be nice.

I hated this contest it was to hard to choose
But I went for 6
I would of went for 5 but I would of like if the CD behind was more dymanic
The reason khorne is so mad is because of cryonicleech, no one knows why. At the present, Khorne, Hashut and Filipicusius is plotting to överthrow him, throw him in a pit and watch him fight the furious puppy that is goodbob!

Voted for #4!
I liked the models integrated onto the scene, the great lava fires and the taunting stance of the CD's as they take cheap shots at the troll who cannot reach them... love it!

I thought it was really close this time around and it took me about half hour of studying the different entries.
I eventually came to the decision of #6 as it seemed more dynamic than then the others. While the painting stanard was overall very high, the exploding lava and spell/flame work really caught my eye. I hope the standard of future GHs uses this as a yardstick so we can all improve and be inspired.

My vote went to #2 but the choice was super tough. The painting was excellent, and while I'm not sure that its a conventional "Duel" in the sense of the word I think it still fits the theme very well. A sorcerer flipped the on-switch of his latest diabolical creation, and is desperately trying to shut it off before it completely destroys his lab. That said, #6 made this a tough choice as it's all sorts of awesomeness. The Fire Wizard is fantasmoriphic! ...and yes, I'm fully aware thats not even a word

My vote finally goes to 3. The anatomy of the dwarf is a bit quirky (especially the arm) but the idea is cool and the painting is solid and the styling of the Hobgobbo shaman, the shihah and the banner make for a very nicely themed diorama. While other entries better catch what I think Chaos Dwarfs stand for, the third one gets my vote for outstanding originality and humour.

My vote goes to #6.
I like the idea (i had similar in progress but i couldn't complete it in time, and i dont think it would have been as cool as this) and the painting is superb. #2 got my attention as well, but came up short. #5 has really COOL (literally) idea and very different feel to it than other entrants.
Anyways, paint job and great idea is what i was looking for.
Nice job every one who entered!!! Hats off to ya'll!

RE: Golden Hat #7 -Voting ThreadHashut's Blessing 11-07-2008
It came down to entries 2, 3, 5 and 6 for me. Entry 1 was a little difficult to see from my pictures, but I liked the idea I'd gathered from it (a pit fight watched by a Dawi Zharr?) and 4 wasn't yet into the combat, so it looked like the BBs hadn't noticed the threat yet (which may be to show their arrogance of "it's no problem"). I liked 2, but wasn't sure if it was a mechsuit attacking a "loyalist" dwarf or a golem against a Dawi Zharr. 5 was excellent, my only problem was possibly the lack of movement in the dead Dwarf's legs (as I'd imagine him to be running at the 'mancer) and frost doesn't flow so brilliantly in my view of CDs (at least not as a standalone. I'd like to see an army and some fluff based around that sorcerer though!). It was VERY close between 3 and 6 because I loved the snake beard stopping the CD from attacking the goblin and it reminded of a piece of fluff about a snakebeard that strangled the CD when he was alseep. I also liked the banner on the floor as it implied something greater around the room. I settled on 6 though because flames do it for me and the purple aethyric energies were beautiful and it was such an epic looking clash of magicks and otherworldly titans!
Having said all of that, I love them all and am upset to not own any of them

i love the frostmancer, the ice shards pearcing through the dwarf is briliant, and him just standing facing the other way, make's him look badass, like he doesn't even care that he wiped out an enemy.

Number 6, was the most dynamic entry. I also liked the color choice and the fire effects.

Could be a lot of people just viewing to see how the voting was fairing...
I would be one of those viewers. I like to watch races like these, even more if I participate like in the previous one!

Almost 700 views but only 62 votes? Poor show!
Could be a lot of people just viewing to see how the voting was fairing...
- but with more than a 1000 members you have to agree with Pyro!
Shouldn't there be a promotion email about voting for GH VI? And it would be cool if you did highlight it at each sub forums (just a thought )
