Blood Bowl is a board game produced by Games Workshop which is a mixture of Warhammer and American Football. It is set in a slightly twisted version of the Warhammer world. There are teams made from the various races and creatures of the world which compete against each other. The game isn't quite the same as American Football, there are no field goals and violence is as important as finesse. It is common for players to die or be very badly injured.

[edit] Chaos Dwarfs in Blood Bowl

As the setting of the game is very similar to that of Warhammer Fantasy, Chaos Dwarfs are generally similar to their Warhammer counterparts and occupy the same territory and worshiping Hashut. Unlike the regular Warhammer world, Minotaurs are presented as a possible mutation of Chaos Dwarfs.

There are two Chaos Dwarf teams in the game, the Zharr-Naggrund Ziggurats (available for sale) and the Scarfaced Scavengers.

Chaos Dwarfs are widely regarded as one of the worst teams to play, but anecdotal evidence suggests they are actually fairly competitive.

[edit] Chaos Dwarf Players

The Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl teams use the following players:

They have several Star Players available to them, notably:

  • Hthark the Unstoppable, a strong Bull Centaur and arguably one of the best Star Players in the game.
  • Rashnak Backstabber, a Sneaky Git.
  • Zzharg Madeye, a Chaos Dwarf armed with a Blunderbuss who can fire the ball with his weapon.

As well as the mercenary Ogre Morg 'n' Thorg and the Minotaur Grashnak Blackhoof.

Former Star Players available from The Citadel Journal include:

  • Zorn 'Sabre Tooth' Uzkrag, a Chaos Dwarf Blocker.
  • Dodgee Gitface, a Hobgoblin.
  • Geargrinder, a Cyborc.
